Danielle Stasney, O.D.

Dr. Danielle Stasney, O.D., was born and raised in Picayune, MS. She enjoys walks with her dachshund and hanging out with friends and family. From a young age, she was always fascinated with the medical field. In high school, the world of optometry piqued her interest.  Dr. Danielle went on to earn her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi. While attending the University of Mississippi, she received the General Business Award for the Class of 2020 and was inducted into the top business honors society, Phi Kappa Phi.

She then attended Southern College of Optometry and was inducted into the national optometric honors society, Beta Kappa Sigma. She completed her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, with the highest Latin honors, Summa Cum Laude.  Her favorite specialty in eye care is ocular disease and systemic manifestations. Dr. Danielle believes a thorough eye exam can help identify, if present, any eye manifestations of systemic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune diseases, etc.

She strives to provide an eye exam that, at the end of the appointment, the patient says, “This is the most thorough eye exam I have ever had.” An eye exam where the patient leaves feeling confident that their visual health is being handled with utmost consideration. She plans on attending the senior health fairs to educate the geriatric population on the importance of yearly eye exams and their role in preserving vision.
